On Friday night we all went to Spice Bazaar. It was a very cold night. On the entrance there were beautiful winter decorations.
There was a white tree in the center table with a glass vase. Beside it were two polar bears made of thermopore. Check out the picture on the top.
Behind the decorations, was a basket with flower bracelets that anyone could wear.
The crowd was so loud and too much, that we couldn’t even hear the music. The receptionist was saying that they were booked for the whole weekend. There was no place to sit, in the waiting area.
There was very less lighting. On every table there were 1-2 candles in glasses. The place was congested and very noisy.
The restaurant serves desi food. It was amazing. I loved it! My dad liked it, too. My mom, however, did not like it. Her point was that this kind of desi food is available at any desi restaurant. I also kind of agree with her.
For starters, we had Finger Fish, which was awesome (in fact it was the best dish), and chicken wings. The restaurant offers complimentary crackers too.

In the main course, we ordered Hydrabadi Biryani, Chicken Handi, Mutton Kunna, Chicken Makhni, Chicken Seekh Kebab and Malai Boti. You may check out the pictures here:
My favorite dish was Chicken Makhni. My dad felt that the food was light. He also said that the Chicken Makhni was of a different kind because it tasted like butter. The odd thing was that Makhni was red!

For desert, we had Gajar ka Halwa and Rus Malayee. Each desert serves two. Both were amazing!

Over all the restaurant failed to inspire a lot of us. It was our third time there. But there is no special attraction that will probably bring us back.
